NePhO 2025/26 second round class routine/guidelines

Dear National Champions,

Congratulations on being selected among the Top 25 National Champions of the first round of the Nepal Physics Olympiad (NePhO) conducted by the Nepal Physical Society with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST).

You are invited to participate in the closed camp, which will be held from Baisakh 30, 2083 (13 May 2026) to Jestha 8, 2083 22 May 2026 at Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur. The camp will be followed by theoretical and experimental examinations. The detailed class routine is attached with this email.

The top five students from this camp will be selected to represent Nepal at the 57th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2026, Columbia. You are encouraged to visit the official IPhO 2026 website for more information about the event and its regulations.

Accommodation

Nepal Physical Society will arrange accommodation only near Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, for participants who require it.
Kindly reply to this email by indicating whether you need accommodation managed by the Nepal Physical Society within 10^th May, 2026.

Important Requirements (MoEST Guidelines)

Please carefully note the following points:

You must have valid travel insurance covering the period from 13 May to 22 May 2026 as per MoEST guidelines.
If you are under 16 years of age, please carry a minor certificate issued by your local authority/concerned office as well as parent’s consent letter.
The top 5 selected students must have a valid passport for IPhO 2026 registration. We have already obtained an extension for the registration deadline, so it is your responsibility to ensure that you have your passport and all necessary documents ready in time.

Dear NePhO 2025/26 Participants,

Your admit cards, code of conduct, and exam center details have been sent to your registered email addresses. Check your inbox (and spam folder) right away, print the admit card, and prepare accordingly for the exam on 27 December 2025.
