Announcement and call for Abstracts
We are pleased to announce that Nepal Physical Society (NPS) will be hosting the International Conference on Physics for Sustainable Energy (ICPSE) in collaboration with the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) as an IUPAP Centenary Satellite event. We cordially invite physicists, scientists, and professionals in related fields to join us at ICPSE-2023 and contribute to the discussions on the critical role of physics in achieving sustainable energy solutions. The conference will feature keynote presentations, invited talks, panel discussions, poster sessions, and networking opportunities, providing a comprehensive and engaging program for all participants.

For International participants from Tribhuvan International Airport, come out of the airport, you will be in front of a huge gate heading to airport. There is a busier road in front facing you right – left. Go towards your left side, follow the road all the way to another big junction. You will find a bus heading towards Patan Dhoka/Lagan Khel there. Or can hire a taxi (Pathau) from airport to Hotel Himalaya. The taxi will cost you in the range of 500-1000 NRS.

Registration
The registration form will be available in Nepal Physical Society webpage. The registration fee is $100 per foreign student and a standard regular fee $150 per foreign delegates and For Nepalese Rs. 2000 per student and standard regular fee is Rs. 3000 per person. The registration deadline is September 10, 2023.

Abstract submission and Posters /oral Presentation:
The abstract or poster is based on original or applied research in the field of physics with a focus on energy. All presenters, whether presenting orally or with a poster, must submit an abstract (in English) of up to 500 words, see the abstract template at www.nps.org.np. Please send your submissions to the conference convener, Dr. Lekh Nath Mishra, Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, Patan Multiple Campus, TU, at <lmisira@gmail.com> and cc to the Nepal Physical Society nepalphysicalsociety2022@gmail.com. The deadline for abstract submissions is required to be met by all participants.

You are invited to submit your abstract (maximum 500 words). Authors whose abstracts are selected will be invited to submit a full paper for peer review. The topics of the Conference includes alternative methods of energy generations and storage, use of renewable energy sources, natural resources and smart material that explores sustainable energy and its diverse applications. For the program consistency, this Abstract Template must be used for abstract submission. Abstracts of a maximum of 500 words can be submitted online by July 3-August 25, 2023. Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by September 1, 2023. Each paper accepted for presentation and included in the proceedings must be accompanied with full registration fee must register by September 10, 2023.
